As an orthopaedic trauma surgeon, I have the unique privilege of helping to restore patients to the maximum function possible and building a relationship from initial injury to long-term recovery. It is my goal to guide patients through the treatment of often life-changing injuries and tailor plans to their unique fractures and life circumstances. I treat fractures in every part of the body but have a particular interest in fractures of the lower extremity, pelvis and acetabulum, ankle and foot. I also treat posttraumatic arthritis and deformity including fusion procedures of the lower extremity and osteoarthritis of major joints, including hip replacement from the anterior approach. I earned my medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at St. Luke’s University Health Network and a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at MetroHealth/Case Western Reserve University. I am a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association and AO North America and have published research in adult and pediatric trauma and sports medicine. As a graduate of the SLUHN residency program, I enjoy actively participating in resident education. I plan to stay active as a faculty member of the AO to educate the next generation on a national level. I spend my time at home with my amazing wife Ashley and our dog-children. We love traveling, cooking, camping and hiking together! Hobbies include Gator football/basketball and classical piano.
